Traffic lights can be switched to optimize traffic flow depending on the traffic situation. The speed at which the lights turn red increases when there are few to no cars and remain green for longer when the traffic volume is high. This is made possible by our multi-channel induction loop sensors. These are programmable and can accommodate up to 9 directional logics. Their sensitivity can be regulated in 256 steps. Reliable signal transmission means that control of the traffic light is always guaranteed, whether the temperature is -20° C or +70°C.
Toll systems/plazas
Increase the reliability of your toll plazas and maximize convenience for users. At toll systems, barrier controls, loop sensors, RFID readers, and contactless payment terminals ensure greater convenience, faster processing, and higher throughput. At free-flow tolling stations, powerful UHF RFID reader systems reliably recognize the transponders and simplify billing while maintaining maximum security thanks to encrypted data transmission and fraud protection to identify cloned transponders.
Traffic data collection
Optimize traffic flow using situation-dependent traffic control. High-performance traffic control technology prevents traffic jams and ensures improved safety on the roads. Our BASt-A2-certified 4-channel sensors provide a secure, durable, weather-independent basis for electronically controlled gantries and traffic signs. They reliably recognize relevant traffic and vehicle data, e.g., speed, length, vehicle class, net time gap, and loop occupancy. The data is evaluated in real time and provides signals for guidance systems and gantries.
